Crap disappears so invisibly and odourlessly into Santiago's innards that it seems as if it had never existed. Now it demands to be freed from its dark sewer and to come out into the light.

An essay film based on the images and sounds I collected from various places between 2014 and 2017. A woman is looking for the traces of someone she once knew. How can she find absence in the presence and presence in the absence? This film is a musing on time - exploring how the past, present, and future are inextricably and mysteriously connected.

A portrait of Santa Mariña do Monte, this well organized parish where water overflows and disappears, where the Virgin of Hope has a double in the chapel that does not resemble her, where there were parties, there was death and there are offerings. A place that looks at us with the limpid eyes of a cow.

First part of a non-narrative series that, through landscape, reflects on the representation of the emptiness and time in space; an emptiness symbolized by the white colour.

A deep dive into the otherworldly and misunderstood bog biome, drawing attention to the harm inflicted on ancient wetlands. An aerial view of a bog in its natural state suddenly sinks into the unimaginable, then appears to evaporate into ghostly images of the bog’s keystone species, Sphagnum moss.

In a colorful and engaging two-minute animation, a small story is developed within the language of experimental cinema. The narrative explores the relationship between two very different characters, drawing a comparison between them and two animals: the Elephant and the Bird. Each animal represents one of the human figures, and they attempt to become similar to each other in order to be together. Gradually, they come to realize that simply accepting their differences is preferable and healthier, ultimately allowing them to grow and move forward together.

Three studies on Galicia (Carlos Velo, 1935), built from reels rediscovered in 2010 containing previously unseen footage. As Nuria Cubas notes, the film renews the spirit of the Misiones Pedagógicas: where authorship once dissolved into anonymity, here it multiplies through a shared purpose, becoming an act of fidelity to Galician land and to the images themselves — a raw, essential testimony finally recovered.

Images, repetitive in visual completion, combine with a popular music track and self-acknowledging voice-over to form a void of numbed loneliness and dissatisfaction.

The intermittently heard voice-over talks about a woman's self-awareness - being unable to know if she has really changed or not. The images are esoteric and hard to interpret: young women in black in various urban settings, something moving rhythmically. A personal, yet intriguing film.
