"In her very first moving image work, Cantor already displays the masterly use of appropriated footage for which she would become known, inserting explicit scenes from the classic porn film Behind the Green Door (1972) into key scenes of lovemaking from Louis Malle's 1959 succès de scandale The Lovers. Taking as its inspiration the (most likely apocryphal) story that actress Jeanne Moreau and her costar were "really making love" on the set of The Lovers, Cantor shows us what director Malle could not, through the addition of hardcore footage from the iconic Marilyn Chambers porn film. At times the edits between one film and the next are remarkably seamless, creating an ingenious illusion, at others Cantor self-consciously foregrounds her redubbing and re-editing of her VHS source material." - Electronic Arts Intermix

A monologue film in the first person. Alexander Kalyagin talks about his childhood, about entering a medical school and working as a paramedic at an ambulance station, about working with Lyubimov in the Taganka Theater and about the decision to leave. Having survived the early death of his first wife, the artist raised a young daughter on his own. It is precisely in these tragic days that fame comes to him, he acts in his first star role, in the picture of V. Titov “Hello, I am your aunt!”. The film biography of Alexander Kalyagin is about sixty films. His most vivid role is Platonov in Nikita Mikhalkov’s film “Unfinished Piece for a Mechanical Piano.” No less significant was the theatrical history of the actor. He played in the best productions of Oleg Efremov and Anatoly Efros (Moscow Art Theater named after M. Gorky). Alexander Kalyagin devoted the last 25 years of his life to the theater ET CETERA, which, together with his course, created the Moscow Art Theater School.

A video performance, in which the author examines fitness and aerobics exercises in today’s parks around Moscow as a strange hybrid of totalitarian sport aesthetics, pop cultural new age readings, and the Soviet ideal of harmonious physical development. People who are no longer young warm up under the guidance of a strong, young fitness instructor against the background of the recently restored rotunda in Moscow’s Neskuchny Gardens. The instructor encourages them: «Breathe! You can do it!». They do their best to carry out all the exercises correctly, ready for the main event — a march, to the chant of «left, right, left, right!».

'City for Sale' takes an in-depth look at the lives of four Barcelona families to show how mass tourism is wiping away the city's essence and its beauty. The documentary follows its subjects for nearly two years, and over that time it becomes clear how mass tourism has marked these families' lives. Through their eyes, we see mass tourism's real impact on Barcelona's old city, the part of town that draws the largest number of tourists, but also the neighbourhood most steeped in history, culture, tradition and charm. Viewers will find it easy to connect with the stories recounted in the film, and they might even personally identify with one or more of them. The documentary is an appeal to empathy and a plea for reflection, and it reveals like never before the human face of a problem that is not only social, but also economic and political, an issue that affects a number of other "fashionable" cities like Madrid, Venice, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Rome, Prague and Paris.
