What is it to be a dancer? Why this choice of life? Films about dance, we've seen plenty! Yet, the daily life of dancers remains something of a mystery. We'd like to hear their side of the story for once. There were six of us learning ballet in the hope of making a career of it. May 1997, we danced our first ballet together. It's with archive footage of this event, found on an old, stashed-away video cassette, that this film begins. The years have passed. All 5 of them have evidently become professional dancers. I will go off to meet them, and they will tell me what life is like as a dancer.

A faltering narrator attempts to recount a family holiday as memory — sparked by a found postcard, a family photo album, and footage from two distinct locations and spatio-temporalities (Toronto and Berlin) — summons forth a barrage of flickering images, creating psychic hiccups and firecrackers of recall.

Sun, dessert, beach, palms and oriental souks – that comes to ones mind while thinking about Morocco. Austrian freeski ladies Melissa Presslaber and Sandra Lahnsteiner in winter 2012 travelled to Morocco to explore the freeski possibilities in Northern Africa. When boarding the plane to Marrakech the girls didn't exactly know what to expect on their exotic skiing trip. Leaving hectic and hot Marrakech behind, they find themselves hiking in the beautiful nature of the Toubkal valley. „Shukran Morocco“ is a declaration of love to a country that offered even more than an impressive mountain range and skiing in the Atlas mountains, including hiking the highest peak of northern Africa and heliskiing in the Toubkal region. An overwhelming hospitality and a deep insight of the fascinating culture of Morocco will stay in the girls mind. Shukran. ("Thanks")

When Nelson Mandela was finally released from prison, courageous South African musicians broke through Apartheid's barriers to form a 500-voice, multiracial youth choir. Threatened with bombs and thwarted at every turn, they prevailed and railroaded across the country aboard The Peace Train. Singing their way into the hearts, minds and soul of a divided nation in the midst of a civil war, they promoted a peaceful transition to democracy and went on to become Mandela's face of the new nation. When Voices Meet documents the trials, tribulations and triumphs of those musician activists and young choir members. They performed together for seven years; never lost touch with one another; and reunited 20 years later to tell their stories.
