Shot over a period of months commencing Christmas 2019, before the UK's goverment-enforced lockdown due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and ending in June 2020 as lockdown was gradually lifted. Filmed initially with the intention of being an anniversary present for Lumbroso's then-boyfriend, but ultimately becoming a reflection on the end of their relationship as they broke up and filming continued.

Feinstein's "Spring and Winter" explores themes present throughout her oeuvre. The narrative is derived from Giambattista Basile's "Sun, Moon, and Talia" (1634), which is considered the original version of the "Sleeping Beauty" story. Fairy tales, kitsch, and the intricacies of femininity commingle as Feinstein performs as a paper doll, maiden, and crone. The spaces between the dichotomies of fiction and reality, young and old, sexual and pure are disclosed within the scope of feminine identity within this film.

ANC Deputy President Oliver Tambo escapes into exile and embarks on what will become a 30-year journey to engage the world in the struggle to bring democracy to South Africa. With resistance inside South Africa effectively crushed by the brutal apartheid regime, the fate of the liberation struggle is now in Tambo's hands. He first finds allies in the newly independent countries of Africa, and with their collective strength behind him, he approaches the U.N. for support, insisting that the apartheid government can be forced to the negotiating table if the Security Council will sanction and isolate the regime. But the western powers refuse to act, forcing Tambo to search for new support. He successfully petitions the Soviet Union for help in building a guerilla army, a decision that lands Tambo in the vice of the Cold War and haunts his global efforts for years to come.
