"...is a totally entertaining film. Unlike many women's films, it is not a documentary or narrative directed at women's issues. Rather, it might be considered a comedy for the women's movement. It is a feminist film not because of any political message but because of the liberation implicits in its imagery. There is a musical soundtrack but no dialogue; the images come fast and surreal, jarring images from a mythic kingdom, where hugely pregnant women rock on and babies fall flat on their face. A really joyus celebration of women, life and film. " -Camille Cook, Chicago Art Institute

In 2019, nearly 300,000 people gathered at Prague's Letná. They demonstrated against the Prime Minister, the President, but above all for democracy. Two students who were afraid for the future of the Czech Republic spoke to them from the stage. A unique film about Mikuláš Minář and Benjamin Roll reveals the riveting story of the founders of the Million Moments for Democracy movement. Director Amálie Kovářová spent six years filming behind the scenes of the group behind the biggest protest since the Velvet Revolution. It went through ups and downs, enthusiasm and lethargy, exaltation and disappointment of supporters. And Mik and Ben have lived it all from the beginning. Boys who believed that even in difficult times, hope could prevail.

Lebohang Kganye’s video was inspired by her visit to the Owl House, created by outsider artist Helen Martins, in Nieu Bethesda, South Africa. The house and land are decorated with fields of ground glass and more than 300 handmade statues of owls, camels, peacocks, pyramids, and people. Villagers there told Kganye elaborate tales about Martins, which she re-created as silhouette cut-outs, each tale playing out as a different scene.
