Meet Ted and Kate, a miserable suburban couple who destroy the last of their marriage battling for the affections of a secondhand motorcycle in a bazaar love triangle. Then there's Mac and Lila who fall in love through Plexiglas as Mac counts his final days on death row. And last but not least, there's Nadine, who endures a torturous and ridiculous spiritual purification process by ashram cult members in hope of settling an old score with her long lost father...the cult leader. Lives and loves intersect in meaningless ways, soul mates come as strange bedfellows, and in the end love is a lot of things, but mostly...love is weird.

"Fortuna" is an island film where the border between land and water overlaps. It is an initiatory and inner journey where men face isolation and expectation. The title "Fortuna" refers to the myth of the wheel of fortune, famous in the Middle Ages. Symbol of changes in social conditions, this circular story teaches us that the world is constantly changing. The first part of the shooting was filmed at the CIAP on the island of Vassivière in a particular context, straddling the confinement period announced on March 17, 2020.

SEA 404 is inspired by Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto’s series Seascapes, and French philosopher Jean Baudrillard’s essay The Vanishing Point of Communication. It questions the contemporary condition in which the computer mediates our experience, and parallels Sugimoto’s observation that media has transformed the way we see the world. In this film, the shift from the horizon line to the world of the onlooker is underlined by the sudden entrance of everyday sounds. The soundtrack is made from field recordings taken every morning at the same time and location for thirty consecutive days.

This performance takes place at the Puente de Cal y Canto bridge in Santiago de Chile, constructed during colonial times at the site where an Inka rope bridge had once connected the south and north of Chile. Vicuña invited friends and passersby to join in creating "a living knot" (un nudo vivo), to recover the memory of the sacred Mapocho Valley and its river, now deeply contaminated. This is one of several "performance-knots" of her Quipu Mapocho, conducted between 2016 and 2017.

This is my second documentary film, and it is fully composed of old people. One woman, nearing 80, is living out the last two years of her life. From when she is still using a cane to walk, to when she becomes paralyzed. This is my grandmother. We also see other elderly people from the village, their daily activities, the tales of their starvation from 50 years ago.

The subject is women and their participation in politics, and this is used as a pretext for a humorous, provocative, female perspective on official (male) discourse and the almost nonexistent participation of women in Uruguayan politics.

The psychosexual drama Yoji, What's Wrong With You? examines the identity of women as mothers in Japanese culture, through an Oedipal narrative of a skewed "family romance." When Yoji announces to his mother that he wants her to meet a new girlfriend, the mother's jealousy destroys the relationship. Idemitsu's signature device of using a television monitor within the domestic space works as a powerful metaphor for the ubiquity of the mother in Yoji's psychological life. Idemitsu's melodramas always articulate a double-edged irony: With no identity outside of her maternal role, Yoji's mother fastens onto her son, ultimately destroying him. Yoji himself is seen as emotionally stunted, unable to leave his mother or experience love for any other woman.
