She takes it away from him and proceeds to enjoy herself. They all try to get it away from her and everyone is soaked. Mary Ann goes home determined to do without "sunshine."

As the Old Believers become more open to the world, their authentic material culture gradually fades away. To capture this vanishing heritage, we traveled to Tayaty, one of the few remaining sub-taiga villages of the Old Believers. The main goal of our expedition was to find preserved traditional household items and, through their owners, gain a deeper understanding of the design thinking of the Russian people.
