In this experimental short from filmmaker Gaylene Preston, a no-nonsense hitchhiker is subjected to the ramblings of a deeply philosophical driver. Impressively, Peter Cathro delivers the long, stream of consciousness ramble in a single take — while actor Shirley Grace manages to keep a straight face throughout. The driver's musings on art, society and creative expression cannot be quashed (even by a kiss), and it becomes too much to bear for the hitchhiker, who just wants to get to Taihape. Filmed in a lo-fi style, this screened at The Women’s Gallery in Wellington as part of 1981 exhibition Sexxuality.

Its contains a wife who has to serve her husband, a preoccupied businessman, and who showers all her attention on her child who is also left behind at home with the mother. The child, especially a son, becomes a replacement for her husband. Mother and son share an intimate life like lovers at home without the husband. It seems that this is such a common occurrence that Japanese society ignores this video work. Those that are envious of the Japanese economic success will become less so if they see this work and realize what this real phenomena in Japanese society is like.

“Nós, Voz, Eles” is a project by Brazilian singer-songwriter Sandy, which consists of duets with Brazilian musical artists in a studio at her home. The songs included in the project were released individually and preceded by their respective episodes, which are part of the web series “Nós, Voz, Eles”, where the process of creating the songs is shown. After the individual release of the songs, they were compiled into two albums, released in 2018 and 2022. In 2023, the singer releases the live version of the project, in video and audio, recorded during the tour with the same name, bringing together artists who previously recorded songs with the singer, and some recent singles.
