2018 · ★ 6.4 (8)

Hosted by NBC News investigative journalist Stephanie Gosk, this brand new two-hour special will offer an intimate look into the life of Joe DeAngelo, the suspect in custody, through new and exclusive interviews from those who were closest to him and offering a gripping depiction of the prime suspect in a decades-long manhunt. To his family, friends, and former colleagues, DeAngelo lived the life of the classic “average Joe” - a father, grandfather, veteran, and even former police officer. DeAngelo now stands accused of being the man behind one of the most ruthlessly enduring crime sprees of all time and is believed to have raped more than 45 women and murdered at least 12 people. He is currently charged with 12 counts of first degree murder and has so far not entered a plea. Joining Gosk is Bay Area detective Paul Holes, who helped search for the Golden State Killer for nearly a quarter-century and played a key role in the arrest of Joe DeAngelo.

Poster for Bagatelle for Willard Maas

1961 · ★ 0.0 (0)

"This is a new version of the now famous film made for her husband, the poet and film-maker. Returning from the Brussels fair, she shot this at Versailles and the Louvre. There is wit, irony and prophecy here (though perhaps not apparent to those who do not know Marie Menken and Willard Maas personally). She says only 'A more serious film than ARABESQUE, BAGATELLE attempts to synchronize into a lyric statement some observations on Versailles.' Marie Menken's fountains are the fountains of life. Marie Menken's Versailles is the Versailles of death. The beauty of this film is the alternation of the fountains and Versaille death. Only Marie Menken would have the subtlety, sensibility, sesitivity, receptivity to fuse and fetilize the classical paradoxes in such an immediate visual apotheosis." -- Charles Boultenhouse

2020 · ★ 0.0 (0)

Our second annual halloween short film made safely during quarantine! Inspired by War of the Worlds and B Creature features from the late 1950s. We worked without a crew so everyone involved did several jobs. Brandon directed, operated the camera, edited, sound designed and did voice over work. Ama directed, wrote, designed the lighting, costuming, operated the fog machine, fire fx, blood, and the tentacles! Which we also made as well! Jared and Mark did voice over characters as well as performing on camera. Rozi did her own stunts, helped with make up and costuming and Amber helped with set design as well as being on camera! It was a little project made for fun in a time when we need it the most! We hope you enjoy and happy halloween!

Poster for Kiev/Moscow. Part 1

2014 · ★ 0.0 (0)

Maidan Nezalezhnosti, or Independence Square, is the central square of Kiev, which gave its name to the large-scale anti-government movement that unfolded in Ukraine in the winter of 2013-2014. A movement that led to the overthrow of the existing regime. However, the happiness of the newfound freedom was overshadowed by the ensuing Russian annexation of Crimea and bloodshed in Eastern Ukraine, inflamed, controlled from Russia. This film is a kind of selection of people's documentary news made on the Maidan in Kiev, in the Crimea and Moscow. The authors shoot their "news" without looking back at ideology, censorship and the logic of war.
